Section 17896.35 - Pre-Digestion Solid Waste Handling(a) Putrescible wastes shall be injected into the in-vessel digester or stored in a sealed container or sealed structure or removed from the site within 48 hours from the time of receipt. This requirement does not apply to putrescible waste stored in a sealed bag, bottle, or can.(b) All non-putrescible wastes not intended for digestion shall be removed within 7 days from the date of receipt or at an alternate frequency approved by the EA.Cal.
