Section 1106.5 - Denial, Suspension, Revocation(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the Director may deny, suspend or revoke a conversion permit in accordance with the requirements of Article 9 (commencing with § 4621) of Chapter 8, Part 2, Division 4 of the Public Resources Code, provided that all proceedings in connection with such action shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 5 (commencing with § 11500) of Part 1, Division 3, Title 2 of the Government Code.(b) The Director may deny a conversion permit pursuant to PRC § 4621.2(e) provided that all proceedings in connection with such action shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of subsection (a) above, except that the applicant must request a hearing before the Board within 15 days of service of the denial. The hearing shall be commenced within 60 days from the filing of the appeal unless a later hearing date is mutually agreed upon by the applicant and the Board.Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 14, § 1106.5
