Section 2021.1 - Solid Waste Collection Vehicle Compliance Requirements
(a) An owner who operates a fleet of one or more solid waste collection vehicles is required to comply with PM BACT for each solid waste collection vehicle in the fleet unless the vehicle is complying with section 2021.1(b).
(b) Exemption for Low Use Solid Waste Collection Vehicles
(1) Low use solid waste collection vehicles as defined in section 2021(b)(18) are exempt from the requirements of section 2021.1(a). The owner must comply with the reporting and record keeping requirements specified in sections 2021.3(a) and 2021.3(b).
(2) Low use solid waste collection vehicles that exceed 1,000 miles in any compliance year must immediately be brought into compliance by meeting PM BACT as specified in section 2021.1(a) or removing the vehicle from the fleet.
