Section 2632.4 - Use of Rating Factors(a) No insurer shall use a rating factor which is not set forth in these regulations and no insurer shall adopt any rating factor based in whole or in part upon the race, language, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, political affiliation, or sexual orientation of any person.(b) No insurer shall use a rating factor, discount, types of limits of coverages or deductibles, make, model, value, cost of repair, or auto symbol of the insured vehicle in the development of rates in a manner that does not bear a substantial relationship to loss.Cal.
