Section 10.143 - Nondepositary Agency

"Nondepositary agency," when used with respect to a foreign (other nation) bank, has the meaning set forth in Financial Code Section 1750(k). In addition, "nondepositary agency" includes any foreign (other state) office of a foreign (other nation) bank which is substantially equivalent to a nondepositary agency, as defined in Financial Code Section 1750(k). "Nondepositary agency" does not include any federal agency of a foreign (other nation) bank.

1. Amendment filed 10-15-81 as an emergency; effective upon filing (Register 81, No. 44). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL within 120 days or emergency language will be repealed on 2-12-82.
