Rule 002.01.24-126 - 09.08 Shoot-to-Kill Bird Dog Training Permit RequiredIt is unlawful to release bobwhite, chukar, mallards, or ring-necked pheasants on private property for the purposes of bird dog or retrieving dog training without a valid Shoot-to-Kill Dog Training Permit issued by the Commission (Addendum F1.06).
A. Any person convicted of violating this regulation shall be liable for the costs incurred in the storage, care, and maintenance of any equipment, wildlife, and/or fish seized in connection with the violation.B. Any person convicted of violating this regulation shall be liable for the costs of any and all tests and/or examinations of the illegally possessed wildlife, and shall also be liable for the costs of destruction and/or disposal of the illegally possessed wildlife, as deemed necessary by the Commission for the protection of native wildlife.PENALTY: Class 2
