Rule 002.01.22-070 - 20.17 - Season Restrictions During Permit Hunts on WMAs

The regulations in this Code Book are hereby adopted by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission under authority of Amendment 35 to the Constitution of the State of Arkansas. All laws, rules, regulations, or orders in conflict with the regulations in this Code Book are hereby repealed by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission.

20.17Season Restrictions During Permit Hunts On WMAs

It is unlawful to hunt wildlife during a permit hunt on any WMA without first obtaining a permit. All seasons not named on the permit are closed during permit hunts on WMAs.

EXCEPTIONS:

A. Waterfowl may be hunted during waterfowl seasons.

B. Other hunting seasons remain open during permit hunts on Buffalo National River, Bearcat Hollow, DeGray Lake, Gene Rush, and Rick Evans Grand view Prairie WMAs for hunting without a permit.

PENALTY: Class 1
