Section R9-7-1506 - Preparation of Radioactive Material for TransportA licensee shall not deliver any package that contains radioactive material to a carrier for transport or transport radioactive material, unless the licensee:
1. Complies with the U.S. Department of Transportation packaging, monitoring, manifesting, marking, and labeling regulations applicable to the mode of transport, (Contained in 49 CFR 171 through 180, revised October 1, 2007, or 39 CFR 111.1, revised July 1, 2007, incorporated by reference, and available under R9-7-101. This incorporated material contains no future editions or amendments.); and2. Establishes procedures for safely opening and closing packages in which radioactive material is transported; and3. Prior to delivery of a package to a carrier for transport, assures that: a. The package is properly closed, andb. Any special instructions needed to safely open the package are made available to the consignee.Ariz. Admin. Code § R9-7-1506
