Section R9-14-611 - Compliance Testing for Drinking Water ParametersA. A licensee for a laboratory at which compliance testing for drinking water compliance testing parameters is performed, including compliance testing performed according to 9 A.A.C. 8, Article 2, shall ensure that: 1. Except as provided in subsection (B), the laboratory is operated in compliance with the guidelines in Key References D4, D5, and D6, excluding the requirements for laboratory personnel education and experience;2. Each sample for Arizona drinking water parameter compliance testing is analyzed: a. Using an approved method:i. Listed in Table 6.2.A ; orii. Approved by the Department for compliance testing for drinking water parameters under R9-14-610(E); andb. If the approved method is from Key Reference C, following the quality control guidelines in Key Reference C associated with the approved method; and3. If the licensee requests approval to perform testing for vinyl chloride, the licensee also obtains approval to perform testing for each of the analytes listed in 40 CFR 141.61(a)(2)-(21).B. If an approved method does not include a specific quality control guideline, a licensee for a laboratory at which compliance testing for drinking water parameters is performed shall ensure that the laboratory is operated in compliance with the guidelines in Key References C4, D7, D9, D10, D11, D12, D13, or D14, as applicable.Ariz.
