Section R9-10-717.01 - Recidivism Reduction ServicesAn administrator of a behavioral health residential facility that is an adult residential care institution and is authorized to provide recidivism reduction services shall ensure that:
1. A personnel member who is recidivism reduction staff at the adult residential care institution does not provide: a. Behavioral health services other than recidivism reduction services; orb. Recidivism reduction services to a resident who has not been referred by a physician, behavioral health professional, or court of competent jurisdiction to receive recidivism reduction services;2. The adult residential care institution accepts an individual as a resident only if the individual:a. Is at least 18 years of age; andb. Has documentation of a referral to receive recidivism reduction services that: i. Was made by a physician, behavioral health professional, or court of competent jurisdiction; andii. Complies with the requirements in A.R.S. § 36-411.01(D);3. The referral is included in the resident's medical record; and4. The recidivism reduction services provided to a resident are: a. Consistent with the age, developmental level, physical ability, medical condition, and treatment needs of the resident; andb. Provided by recidivism reduction staff whose experience is compatible with the experience of the resident.Ariz. Admin. Code § R9-10-717.01
