Section R6-4-204 - Extended EvaluationA. An extended evaluation is used for those individuals for whom the presence of a disability which constitutes a substantial handicap for employment has been documented but for whom the counselor is unable to make a determination that services might benefit the individual in terms of employability without an extended evaluation to determine rehabilitation potential.B. The full range of VR services will be provided under an IWRP during extended evaluation but for no longer than 18 months and in conformity with 45 CFR 401.36(b) and (c). The individual's progress will be thoroughly assessed as frequently as necessary but at least once every 90 days while services are provided. Periodic reports from those providing services will be considered in this assessment. The extended evaluation will be terminated in accordance with 45 CFR 401.36(e).Ariz. Admin. Code § R6-4-204
