Section R4-24-307 - SubpoenasA. A party desiring issuance of a subpoena to compel the appearance of a witness or the production of documents or other evidence at a hearing shall file a written request with the Board that includes the following information: 1. The caption and docket number of the matter;2. A list or description of any documents or other evidence sought;3. The name and business address of the custodian of the documents or other evidence sought;4. The name and business or residential address of all persons to be subpoenaed;5. A brief statement of the reason the evidence is relevant to the matter;6. The date, time, and place to appear or produce documents or other evidence; and7. The name, address, and telephone number of the party, or the party's attorney, requesting the subpoena.B. The party requesting a subpoena be issued shall ensure that the subpoena is served in the manner prescribed by the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and pay all costs involved in serving the subpoena.C. A party or the person served with a subpoena who objects to the subpoena, in whole or in part, may file a written objection with the Board within five days after service of the subpoena or at the beginning of the hearing if the subpoena is served fewer than five days before the hearing.D. The Board shall quash or modify a subpoena if:1. It is unreasonable or oppressive,2. It requests information that is confidential or privileged, or3. The desired testimony or evidence can be obtained by an alternative method.Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-24-307
