Section R18-16-502 - EligibilityA. A well is eligible for consideration for funding or performance of interim remedial action if a remedy has not been selected and the well meets the following criteria: 1. The well currently supplies water for municipal, domestic, irrigation, or agricultural use or is currently part of a public water system;2. The well produces water, or in the reasonably foreseeable future will produce water, that is not fit for its current or reasonably foreseeable end-use without treatment due to the release of hazardous substances at or from a site on the registry; and3. The well is not an abandoned well.B. Only costs directly related to an interim remedial action approved by the Department are eligible for funding from a grant from the Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund. Costs incurred by any person after the date of submittal of a complete request which meets the requirements of R18-16-503 are eligible for funding if the request and proposed interim remedial action are subsequently approved by the Department. Costs incurred by any person prior to the submittal of a request under R18-16-503 are not reimbursable by the Department.Ariz. Admin. Code § R18-16-502
