Paragraph (e) is amended by adding: Drivers who violate the terms of an out-of-service order as prescribed under this section are also subject to the provisions and sanctions of A.R.S. § 28-5241.
B.49 CFR 392.9b, Prohibited transportation. 1. Paragraph (a) is amended to read: Safety registration required. A commercial motor vehicle providing transportation in interstate commerce or in intrastate commerce must not be operated without a safety registration and an active USDOT Number.
2. Paragraph (b), Penalties, is amended to read: Penalties. If it is determined that the motor carrier responsible for the operation of such a vehicle is operating in violation of paragraph (a) of this section, it may be subject to penalties in accordance with 49 U.S.C. 521 and A.R.S. § 28-5240.
