Section R12-7-105 - Change of LocationA. No operator shall drill a well in a location other than that authorized by the permit issued pursuant to R12-7-104 until the following requirements have been met: 1. If the operator decides to change the location before drilling the well, an amended application for permit to drill shall be filed showing the new location.2. If it is determined that the location is erroneously described on the permit after drilling has begun, the operator shall obtain a new permit showing the correct location.B. If the new location is at an authorized point in the approved drilling unit as provided in the initial permit, the application may be made by electronic communication and the Commission may by electronic communication authorize the commencement or continuance of drilling operations. Within ten days after obtaining such authorization, the operator shall file an amended application showing the new location. An amended permit may be issued and the old permit cancelled without payment of additional fee.C. If the new location is located outside the approved drilling unit covered by the initial permit, no drilling shall be commenced or continued until a new application for permit to drill is filed and approved as required by R12-7-104, including payment of an additional fee.Ariz.
