Section 7 AAC 139.010 - Recipient eligibility

The following individuals may receive services under this chapter:

(1) an individual under 21 years of age who
(A) is diagnosed with a mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder or substance use disorder;
(B) is at risk of developing a mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder or substance use disorder based upon a screening conducted under 7 AAC 135.100;
(C) is at risk of out-of-home placement;
(D) is currently in the custody of the state; or
(E) has been detained in a juvenile justice facility or treated in a residential treatment program or psychiatric hospital within the past year;
(2) an individual who meets the criteria under 7 AAC 135.055 for an adult experiencing a serious mental illness;
(3) an individual 21 years of age or older who is experiencing a mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder who meets the diagnostic criteria in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, adopted by reference in 7 AAC 70.910, or the International Classification of Diseases - 10th Revision, Clinical Modification, (ICD-10-CM), adopted by reference in 7 AAC 70.910.
