Section 5 AAC 38.310 - Fishing seasons for clams in Registration Area HNotwithstanding 5 AAC 38.062(a), and unless otherwise provided for in this chapter, all hardshell clam and razor clam species may be taken only under the terms of a permit issued by the commissioner. In the permit the commissioner may
(1) specify the depth of fishing gear used;(2) specify the area for fishing;(3) require the use of logbooks provided for by the department and that the logbooks be attached to a fish ticket when the fish are landed; and(4) set out any other conditions that the commissioner, in the commissioner's discretion, determines are necessary for the conservation or management of this fishery.In effect before 1988; am 7/23/94, Register 131; am 9/12/97, Register 143; am 5/8/98, Register 146; am 7/5/2000, Register 155
