Section 5 AAC 28.350 - Closed waters in Cook Inlet Area(b) Groundfish may not be taken by pot gear in the following locations: (1) waters west of a line from Cape Douglas to Chinitna Point (59º 41.6' N. lat., 153º 03.2' W. long.) that are deeper than 15 fathoms;(2) waters of Kachemak Bay enclosed by a line from a point on the southern shore of Kachemak Bay at 59° 34.68' N. lat., 151° 19.27' W. long., to the southernmost point of Gull Island at 59° 35.05' N. lat., 151° 19.90' W. long., southwest to 59° 32.20' N. lat., 151° 35.00' W. long., south to 59° 30.40' N. lat., 151° 35 .. 00' W. long., west to 59° 30.40' N. lat., 151 45.00' W. long., northeast to 59° 33.00' N. lat., 151° 41.00' W. long., northeast to 59° 34.70' N. lat., 151° 30.00' W. long., and north along 151° 30.00' W. long. to the point that intersects the mainland.(c) Lingcod may not be taken in the waters of Resurrection Bay north of a line between Cape Resurrection and Cape Aialik.Eff. 4/7/93, Register 126; am 2/24/96, Register 137; am 4/4/97, Register 142; am 3/8/2002, Register 161; am 3/15/2017, Register 221, April 2017; am 7/28/2023, Register 247, October 2023
