Section 5 AAC 27.895 - Harvest strategy for Kuskokwim Area(a) In the Cape Avinof District, the department shall manage the commercial herring fishery for an exploitation rate not to exceed 15 percent of the estimated available biomass.(d) In the Nelson Island District, the department shall manage the commercial herring fishery so that the combined commercial and subsistence herring harvest does not exceed a exploitation rate of 20 percent of the estimated available biomass.
