Section 5 AAC 21.345 - Registration(a) A CFEC set gillnet permit holder shall register for a registration area described in (b) of this section before fishing, by completing a registration form available from the department and returning the form in person to the department office in Anchorage, Soldotna, or Homer, by mail to the department office in Soldotna, or by completing and submitting to the denartment an electronic registration form available on the department's website. A CFEC set gillnet permit holder may not fish in more than one registration area during a registration year.(b) Registration areas are as follows: (1) Northern District Area: as described in 5 AAC 21.200(a);(2) Upper Subdistrict Area: as described in 5 AAC 21.200(b) (2);(3) Greater Cook Inlet Area: all waters of the Cook Inlet Area open to set gillnet fishing as described in 5 AAC 21.200(b)(1), (b)(3) - (6), and (d).(c) The registration year is January 1 - December 31.(d) Registration is not transferable between registration areas during a registration year.Eff. 4/7/93, Register 126; am 6/22/2002, Register 162; am 5/18/2014, Register 210, July 2014The registration form specified in 5 AAC 21.345(a) may be delivered in person or sent by mail to the department office in Soldotna at Department of Fish and Game, Commercial Fisheries Division, 43961 Kalifornsky Beach Road, Suite B, Soldotna, Alaska 99669-8367, or the electronic registration form may be completed and submitted on the department's website at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=commercialbyareauci.main.
