Section 5 AAC 01.430 - Subsistence fishing permits(a) Salmon, trout, and char may only be taken under the authority of a subsistence fishing permit. The department will only issue one permit per household.(b) No more than 250 salmon may be taken for subsistence purposes, per household, unless otherwise specified by a local representative of the department on the subsistence fishing permit. A permit holder may obtain an additional permit from the department.(c) A record of subsistence-caught fish must be kept on the the permit.
