Section 3 AAC 28.825 - Standards for supplemental illustrations(a) A supplemental illustration may be provided if: (1) it is appended to, accompanied by, or preceded by a basic illustration that complies with 3 AAC 28.800 - 3 AAC 28.849;(2) the non-guaranteed elements shown in the supplemental illustration are not more favorable to the policy owner than the corresponding non-guaranteed elements that are based on the scale used in the basic illustration;(3) it contains the statement required under 3 AAC 28.820(a) (13) for a non-guaranteed element;(4) the contract premium underlying the supplemental illustration is equal to the contract premium shown in the basic illustration, if the policy has a contract premium; and(5) the premium outlay underlying the supplemental illustration is equal to the premium outlay shown in the basic illustration, if the policy does not require a contract premium.(b) A supplemental illustration must include a notice referring to the basic illustration for guaranteed elements and other information.Eff. 9/1/98, Register 147In 2010 the revisor of statutes, acting under AS 01.05.031, renumbered former AS 21.36.150 as AS 21.36.900. As of Register 196 (January 2011), the regulations attorney made a conforming technical revision under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to the authority citation that follows 3 AAC 28.825, so that the citation to former AS 21.36.150 now refers to the renumbered statute, AS 21.36.900.
