Section 21 AAC 10.070 - Adoption of legislative procurement procedures(a) The Office of the Ombudsman adopts theAlaska-Legislative Procurement Procedure, revised as of November 21, 2013, as amended from time to time, and adopted by reference, except as otherwise provided in this section.(b) For purposes of this section, "procurement officer" means the appointed ombudsman or a person designated by the ombudsman to carry out a procurement. (c) Competitive procurement procedures do not apply to a contract for an investigation under AS 24.55.100, including professional services of an investigator or expert hired for work on an ombudsman investigation. However, a copy of the contract for an investigation shall be included in the ombudsman's procurement fil es after the investigation is closed.
