Section 18 AAC 60.310 - Floodplains(a) The owner or operator of a new or existing MSWLF or a lateral expansion located in a 100-year floodplain shall demonstrate that the MSWLF will not restrict the flow of the 100-year flood, reduce the temporary water storage capacity of the floodplain, or result in washout of solid waste that would pose a hazard to public health or the environment.(b) The owner or operator shall retain the documentation used to satisfy (a) of this section in the operating record.Eff. 1/28/96, Register 137Authority:AS 44.46.020
