Executive Order No. 49, which took effect 7/1/81, transferred the responsibility for regulating amusement rides and tramways from the Department of Public Safety to the Department of Labor. The Department of Labor subsequently adopted regulations regarding amusement rides and tramways (8 AAC 78); the regulations took effect 11/30/89, Register 112. The Department of Public Safety regulations in 13 AAC 15 are obsolete, and were deleted, as of Register 112, at the instruction of the regulations attorney.
