Section 12 AAC 68.225 - Continuing competency requirements for first-time license renewal(a) A veterinarian who is applying for license renewal for the first time shall certify having completed 15 contact hours of continuing education for each complete calendar year that the applicant was licensed during the concluding licensing period.(b) A veterinary technician who is applying for license renewal for the first time shall certify having completed five contact hours of continuing education for each complete calendar year that the applicant was licensed during the concluding licensing period.Eff. 5/9/98, Register 146Authority:AS 08.98.050
