Section 746-X-10-.05 - Continuing Education

(1) All licensed orthotic fitters must certify that they have completed seven (10) hours of continuing education credit for each calendar year. Two (2) of the required hours shall be in Alabama Orthotic and Prosthetic Law and Ethics.

(2) All continuing education courses shall be conducted by vendors in the business of supplying products to orthotic fitters, the Alabama Prosthetic and Orthotic Association, the American Board for Certification (ABC), the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC) and other Board approved educational organizations.
