Section 580-3-26-.03 - Committee Duties(1) The Committee shall perform the following duties. (a) elect officers (Chairperson; Co-Chairperson; Secretary) to carry-out duties in an orderly fashion, with the Chair and Co-Chair not being employed by the program;(b) develop by-laws and operational procedures necessary to perform duties and responsibilities;(c) meet at least quarterly;(d) keep minutes of all meetings and maintain related correspondence;(e) report all committee activities and recommendations to the program director.(2) The Human Rights Committee will include, but not be limited to, activities such as: (a) assisting in the review of rights-related policies and procedures;(b) promoting rights-related education and training programs;(c) reviewing rights restrictions;(d) assisting in monitoring activities;(e) advising the program administrator on consumer rights-related grievances;(f) reviewing rights-related issues in behavioral plans.Author: DMHMR Office of Advocacy Services
