Section 580-1-1-.16 - Certification

No person, partnership, corporation, or association of persons shall operate a facility or institution for the care or treatment of any kind of mental or emotional illness or service to the mentally retarded as defined in Code of Ala. 1975, without being certified by the department and licensed by the State Board of Health.
