Section 560-X-6-.05 - Submission Of Claims

Out of State Claims DO NOT Need Prior Approval. Except for those services which require prior approval as stated in Chapters 1 and 6 of this Administrative Code (i.e. transplants and select surgeries), medical care outside the State of Alabama does not require prior authorization by the Alabama Medicaid Agency.
