Section 560-X-18-.13 - Providers Of Ambulance Service Responsibilities(1) Act No. 645 passed by the 1976 Regular Session of the Legislature of Alabama provided that any person who, with intent to defraud or deceive, makes or causes to be made, any false statement or representation of material fact in any claim or application for any payment, regardless of the amount from Alabama Medicaid Agency, knowing the same to be false, shall be guilty of a felony.(2) All services will be provided without discrimination of race, color, or national origin, as in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.(3) The provider of Ambulance Services, will assume all responsibility for operation of the service if a medical/legal accident should occur.
