Section 538-X-1-.01 - Scope

These rules, in accordance with the Darren Wesley "Ato" Hall Compassion Act (§ 20-2A-1, et seq., Code of Ala. 1975, (as amended)) ("the Act"), govern the production, transportation, dispensation, testing and use of medical cannabis, as well as the procedures for patient registration, industry licensing, and general regulation of medical cannabis within the State of Alabama. Authority for these rules, as promulgated and amended from time to time by the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission ("the Commission"), is derived from the Act.
