Section 535-X-12T-.01 - Purpose

Code of Ala. 1975, Section 24-6-2 provides that the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission "...shall function as the principal executive branch agency with powers to provide for a comprehensive manufactured and modular housing and building program with respect to construction, transportation, site location, or manufacturing standards for such structures." Under the same Section, the AMHC is further authorized and empowered to create and enforce regulations pertaining to the transportation of manufactured and modular housing and buildings in Alabama. This Chapter sets out the regulations pertaining to the transportation of manufactured and modular housing and buildings in Alabama.
