Section 535-X-11-.13 - Used Manufactured Buildings(1) The following procedure may be used for a used manufactured (modular) building not in compliance with this Chapter and/or that has not previously received an Alabama insignia of compliance to obtain approval for the unit to be sited in Alabama: (a) Plans for used units to be sited in Alabama shall be submitted to the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission for plan review. Plans for used units must be accompanied by the appropriate fees, a registered architect's, and a licensed professional engineer's certification that the unit's current condition meets or exceeds Alabama standards. The certification must include the model number, serial number, and a statement that the building meets or exceeds the Alabama standards for the construction of manufactured buildings at the time of construction.Ala.
