Section 482-2-109-.03 - Adoption Of International Existing Buildings Code®(2015 Edition); Exceptions

(1) Except as specifically provided in paragraph (2), the 2015 edition of the International Existing Buildings Code®, as promulgated by the International Code Council®, is adopted by reference as a regulation of the State Fire Marshal. Said code shall be used for projects on which the date of the architectural services contract is on or after the effective date of this rule.

(2) The following portions of the 2015 edition of the International Existing Buildings Code® are not adopted: In Part 2 of Chapter 1, all sections dealing with "Administration and Enforcement".

Adopted by Alabama Administrative Monthly Volume XXXV, Issue No.02, November 30, 2016, eff. 1/1/2017.
