Section 482-1-156-.02 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth rules and procedural requirements which the Commissioner deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Reinsurance Credit Law, Chapter 5B of Title 27, beginning with Section 27-5B-1, Code of Ala. 1975 ("the Act"). The actions and information required by this chapter are hereby declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of the ceding insurers in this state.
