Section 460-X-7-.01 - Program DescriptionGrant funds are made available from the Alabama Historical Commission.
(a) Eligible Applicants - The Alabama Historical Commission accepts grant applications from nonprofit organizations, local governments, educational institutions and others.(b) Grant programs are announced as they become available for programs of the Alabama Historical Commission.(c) Grant Award Process - Proposals are ranked by members of the Alabama Historical Commission staff and/or committees and councils formed by the Alabama Historical Commission. Award of grant funds is made after consideration of the proposals as ranked. Awards will be announced after proposals are ranked. Award of grant funds is made by contract between grantee and the Alabama Historical Commission. Grant Agreement contract is to establish requirements, procedures, special conditions, cost principles, standards for allowability of costs, matching share, procurement standards, monitoring and reporting requirements, and guidelines for meeting standards applied to project.Ala.
