Section 300-4-8-.03 - Appeals

The Alabama Commission on Higher Education shall provide PDTSP recipients with terms of repayment before their repayment periods begin. If a PDTSP recipient qualifies for any of the exceptions described in the PDTSP terms of agreement, the Commission shall accept claims for exceptions as specified in the PDTSP terms of agreement. PDTSP recipients may appeal determinations they are not in compliance with program regulations by requesting in writing a hearing by the Student Assistance Committee of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education. The decision of this committee shall be final.
