SUMMARY:

The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Bluefish Monitoring Committee will hold a public webinar meeting.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The Bluefish Monitoring Committee will meet via webinar on August 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., to review previously adopted 2025 commercial and recreational Annual Catch Limits, Annual Catch Targets, commercial quota, and recreational harvest limit for bluefish and recommend changes as appropriate. In addition, the Monitoring Committee will review commercial and recreational management measures and recommend changes, if needed. During this meeting, the Monitoring Committee will consider recent fishery performance as well as recommendations from the Bluefish Advisory Panel, Scientific and Statistical Committee, and Council staff. Meeting materials will be posted to www.mafmc.org.
