SUMMARY:
We are announcing a meeting of the Chief Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officers Council, co-chaired by the Director of OGIS and the Director of OIP.
DATES:
The meeting will be on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon ET. Please register for the meeting no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 (registration information is detailed below).

The November 7, 2024, meeting will be a virtual meeting. We will send access instructions to those who register according to the instructions below.

Procedures: The virtual meeting is open to the public. If you wish to offer oral public statements during the public comment period, you must register in advance through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/chief-foia-officers-council-meeting-november-7-2024-tickets-1038106633887. You must provide an email address so that we can provide you with information to access the meeting online. Public comments will be limited to three minutes per individual. We will also live-stream the meeting on the National Archives YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/live/kH_irXSG5X8 and include a captioning option.
