SUMMARY:
The USDA Forest Service, Washington Office, in accordance with section 3(b) and section 3(d)(1) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, is transmitting the final boundary of Cottonwood Creek National Wild and Scenic River to Congress and is providing notice of availability of the Cottonwood Creek Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive River Management Plan. The comprehensive river management plan and boundary for Cottonwood Creek Wild and Scenic River are available for review online at the following websites: https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/inyo/?project=57325 and https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/1505640/570.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
The Omnibus Public Lands Management Act of 2009 (Pub. L. 111-11) of March 30, 2009, designated Cottonwood Creek, California as a National Wild and Scenic River, to be administered by the Secretary of Agriculture and Secretary of Interior. The Wild and Scenic Rivers Act requires that each federally administered river have a legally established boundary. As specified by law, the boundary will not be effective until ninety days after Congress receives the transmittal.
