Pursuant to the Direction of Election,. as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on October 22, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minneapolis, Minnesota). On October 23, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Sec- tion 9 of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 233. 1135 1136 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that Commercial Telegraphers' Union, Minneapolis Local No. 8 (A. F. L.), has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Western Union Telegraph Com- pany at Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the commercial, traffic, account- ing, and plant departments, excluding the employees occupying posi- tions listed in Appendix A, attached to the Direction of Election, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Commercial Telegraphers' Union, Minneapolis Local No. 8' (A. F. L.), is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of ;employment.
