Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 5, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Sixth Region (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). On August 6, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the election or the Elec- tion Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 105. 860 WESTERN UNION TELEGRAPH COMPANY 861 of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that American Federation of Labor, Com- mercial Telegraphers Union has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Western Union Telegraph Company working in Metropolitan Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the commercial, traffic plant, and accounting departments, excluding executives, law- yers, confidential employees, temporary messengers, J. W. Bartell, and the other supervisory employees occupying the positions listed in Appendices A, B, C, and D, attached to the Decision and Direction of Election, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, American Federation of Labor, Commercial Telegraphers Union is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. - i MR.
