C-847 and R-998 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER, . , , May 4,1942' On March 30, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, issued a Decision, Order, and Direction of Election 1 in this case. The Board stated in its Decision that due to the Company's unfair labor practices found therein, it would not set the date for the election but would hold the election upon receipt of information from the Regional Director that circumstances permit a free choice of representatives unaffected by the Company's unlawful acts. - No election has been held pursuant to the Board's Direction of Election. On April 21, 1942, the Union requested the Board for per= mission to withdraw its petition, as amended, in this proceeding, be- cause of the lapse of time since the Direction of Election. The Board, having duly considered the matter, hereby grants the motion of the Union to withdraw its petition, as amended, and vacates and sets aside its Direction of Election of March 30, 1940. 1 22 N L.
