CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
August 19, 1943
On July 8, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued a
Decision and Direction of Elections,' and on July 22, 1942, a Supple-
mental Decision and Amendment to Decision and Direction of Elec-
tions,2 in the above-entitled proceedings.. Pursuant to the Direction
of Elections and the Supplemental Decision an Amendment to De-
cision and Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were con-
ducted on August 3, 1942, under the direction-and supervision of the
Regional Director for the Fourteenth Region (St. Louis, Missouri).
On' August 4, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article
III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regu-
lations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties
an, Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of
the ballot or the Election Report were filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and the results thereof, the Regional Director
reported as follows :

Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor, Rela-
tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections'8 and 9,
of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2,
as amended,
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers, Local No. 1, affiliated with the American Federation of
Labor, has' been designated and selected by a majority of the em-
ployees of the Electrical Department of the, St. 'Louis plant -of
United States Cartridge Company, St. Louis, Missouri, including
those employed on electrical maintenance, repair, and construction
work, but excluding the general superintendent, assistant superin-
tendents, clerical workers, and all other employees of the Company,
as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and,
that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Brotherhood
of Electrial Workers, Local No. 1, affiliated with the American Fed-
eration of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees
for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay,
wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
IT IS FURTHER CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Firemen
and Oilers, Local No. 6, affiliated with the American Federation of
Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of the boiler
room and tunnel employees, including tunnel foremen, employed at
the No. 1 Powerhouse and the No. 2 Powerhouse of the St. Louis
plant of United States Cartridge Company, St. Louis, Missouri,
excluding operating engineers, shift engineers, superintendent, tool
foremen, and all other employees of the Company, as their repre=
sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant,
to" Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Brotherhood of Firemen
and Oilers, Local No. 6, affiliated with the American Federation of
Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the
purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages,,
hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
