R-2543 to R-2545 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 27, 1941 On June 27, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on July 24 and 25, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourteenth Region (St. Louis, Missouri). On August 2, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of Na- tional Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the Osage Hydroelectric Generating plant of Union Electric Com- pany of Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, excluding the superintendent, assistant superintendent, all foremen, assistant foremen, all other employees occupying supervisory positions, engineers, clerks, and office employees, as their representative' for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Inter- national Union of Operating Engineers, Stationary Engineers Local Union No. 148, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of plant of Union Electric Company of Illinois, St. Louis, Missouri, excluding superintendents, assistant su- perintendents, foremen, assistant foremen, boiler-room operators, tur- bine-room operators, other employees occupying supervisory positions, engineers, assistant engineers, technical engineers, assistant technical engineers, laboratory and testing engineers, inspectors, sanitary and safety inspectors, chemists, statistical stenographers, and all clerks, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Union of Operating Engineers, Stationary Engineers Local Union No. 148, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive rep- resentative of all such employees for the purposes of IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Tri-State Utility Workers Union has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the Ashley Street Steam Electric Generat- ing plant of Union Electric Company of Missouri , -St. Louis, Missouri, excluding the superintendent, turbine-house-watch engineers, fore- men and assistant foremen, other employees occupying supervisory positions, engineers, assistant engineers, technical engineers, assistant technical engineers, laboratory and testing engineers , chemists, and UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY OF MISSOURI 23 all clerks, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Tri-State Utility Workers Union, is the exclusive representative of all such em- ployees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employ- ment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Union of Operating Engi- neers, Stationary Engineers Local Union No. 148, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees at the water-gas manufacturing plant and gas-distribution department of the St. Louis County Gas Com- pany, St. Louis, Missouri, excluding supervisory employees, engi- neers, clerks, estimators, meter readers, 'dispatchers, and office em- ployees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargain- ing, and that, pursuant to Section" 9 (a) of the Act, International Union of Operating Engineers, Stationary Engineers Local Union No. 148, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and ,other conditions of employment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Tri-State Utility Workers Union has been designated and selected by a majority of all office, clerical, and sales employees of Union Electric Company of Missouri, Mississippi River Power Company, Iowa Union Electric Company, Union Elec- tric Company of Illinois, and The St. Louis County Gas Company, all of St. Louis, Missouri, excluding supervisory employees, as their rep- resentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursu- ant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Tri-State Utility Workers Union is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of em- ployment, and other conditions of employment.
