Pursuant thereto a secret ballot election was conducted between October 17 and 20, 1941, by the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Washington). On October 23, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows : Total on eligibility list------------------------------------- 26 Votes cast for Newspaper Drivers and Helpers Union, Local No. 763, A. F. of L---------------------------------------- 2. Votes cast against Newspaper Drivers and Helpers Union, Local No. 763, A. F. of L--------------------------------- 19 Total challenged ballots-- ---------------------------------- 0 Total on eligibility list not voting --------------------------- 5 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining rep- resentative has been selected by the employees in the unit hereto- fore found to be appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining. No. 192. 939 940 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD ORDER By virtue of Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY oRDERED that the petition for investigation and cer- tification of representatives of employees of Tribune Publishing Company, Tacoma, Washington, filed by Newspaper Drivers and Helpers Union, Local No. 763, chartered by International Brother- hood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of Amer- ica, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, be, and it hereby it, dismissed.
