Case No. R-2809 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES September 19,, 1941 On August 14, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding., Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 29, 1941, under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massa- chusetts). On September 3 and 4, 1941, respectively, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2,,as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report and Amend- ment to Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report, as amended, have been filed by any of the parties. R B., No 129 579 451270-42-x of 35--38 580 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Textile Workers Union of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by the majority of all production and main- tenance employees at the Kerr Mills of The American Thread Com- pany, Fall River, Massachusetts, excluding administrative, office, clerical, and supervisory employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the Act, Textile Workers Union of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the ex- clusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of - employment, and other conditions of employment.
