SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION
AND
ORDER
- February 2G, 1942
On December 30, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued
a Decision and Direction of Election in the above .entitled proceed-
ing.) Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret
ballot was conducted on January 19, 1942, by the Regional Director
for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On January 20, 1942,
the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9,
of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2,
as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Elections
Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election
Report have been filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported
as follows :

The results of the election show that no collective bargaining
,representative has been selected by a majority of employees of Taylor
& Gaskin, Inc., in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for
collective bargaining . We shall, therefore , dismiss the petitions for
investigation and certification of representatives of employees of the
Company.
ORDER
By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National
Labor Relations Board by Section 9 ( c) of the National Labor Rela-
tions Act , 49 Stat. 449 , and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9,
of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2,
as amended,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petitions for investigation and cer-
tification of representatives for collective bargaining on behalf of
the employees of Taylor & Gaskin, Inc., Detroit , Michigan, filed by
International Association of Bridge , Structural & Ornamental Iron
Workers, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, and
Local 212 , International Union , United Automobile , Aircraft & Agri-
cultural Implement Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress
of Industrial Organizations , be, and they hereby are , dismissed.
