Case No. R-2539 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 7, 1941 On June 17, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.,' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on July 14, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the. Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On July 21, 1941, the Regional Di- rector, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 209. 1246 SLOSS-SHEFFIELD STEEL & IRON COMPANY 1247 Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of the office and clerical employees of Sloss-Sheffield Steel & Iron Company, Birmingham, Alabama, excluding employees employed at the gen- eral offices of the Sloss-Sheffield Steel & Iron Company in Birming- ham, Alabama, and in the office at the Russellville Brown Ore Mines, and further excluding plant accountants, store managers, and other employees having the right to hire and fire, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, United Office and Professional Workers of America, Local No. 97, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
